Last year's terrorist attack in Mumbai was a tragic bolt from the blue that could have been muted, if not totally averted, but for the appalling failure of almost all our security agencies. Sadly, the media, in general, seems to be projecting, or, say, encashing, the tragedy as something worth celebrating. As if the questions that are now being raised today did not need a continued prodding!

As per a news report, the findings of the Liberhan Commission, which probed the 1992 demolition of the Babri Masjid, are expected to be tabled in Parliament on December 22.

Since the once-strong looking BJPâs edifice today is passing through its natural process of crumbling, it would be foolish on the part of the Congress to present this report.

For, the report, whatever its stance, would certainly pave some ways for the divided BJP to get united on some or the other observation of the Commission.

Even if my assertion is branded thypothetical, one thing is for sure that by tabling the report, no one, from the common man to the Congress party, would be benefited in any way.

Went through the web pages of The Herald Of India. I found it a welcome relief among the numerous magazines and journals. You deserve appreciation for keeping alive the spirit even after several years in journalism. I remember the articles you had written in the Indian Express when I was a child. All the best to your venture.

The Herald of India is a good newspaper. The articles are all well-written. It maintains a good standard, be it in writing or editing. It is, perhaps, the only online newspaper which publishes good photographs from different parts of the country on the day the events occur. In other words, your effort is commendable. Please accept my heartiest congratulations and best wishes.
